What should I do if my DSC PC5015 system has a low battery?

THIS INFORMATION IS TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM THE MANUAL FOR THIS ALARM SYSTEM.

It is recommended that the back-up battery be replaced every three years. Contact your installing company for information on replacing the battery.

Troubles on an LED Keypad:

To display the trouble conditions, enter [*] [2]. Trouble conditions are represented with the Zone Lights; if a Zone Light comes ON, then that trouble condition is present. Zone light 1 indicates battery trouble.

Troubles on an LCD Keypad:

Press [*] [2] to view the trouble. The message will read, “System Trouble (*2) to View< >”. Use the arrow (< >) keys to view which troubles are present on the system. Once you have scrolled through the list of troubles, press the [#] key to exit the Trouble Viewing
mode and return to the Ready state.

If the display indicates a battery trouble. Contact your Security provider for assistance.
